Contents insurance

Does anyone have any recommendations/ideas/experience about contents insurance?

I'm renting at the moment, but not sure if it will be for a full year (before buying).
I've gotten a few quotes, but tired of having to fill in all my details and then fending off the phone calls just for getting a quote.

I have contents insurance with HomeLet. It's less than a tenner a month for me.

I've always had mine with Endsleigh.  They have traditionally dealt with students so are more flexible than many other companies.
