Just a short travelogue.
We took the train to Inverness and back over the Easter holiday. Our hotel was good, the city was the most beautiful I've ever seen, the food was decent, and in some cases great... the people were friendly, loads of stuff to do and see... lots of different beer at the pubs, too many kinds of scotch to try. We got to meet Britwife and family, too!
And it was cheap.
We were totally unable to rent a car, so we have to go back to see some stuff. Not able to catch Nessie, either. However, we really want to go back, so no problem.
