provisional licence
« on: May 02, 2007, 11:47:11 AM »
hi i am about to apply for my provisional licence and i am filling out the bit about confirming my identity:
im going to send of my passport and my marriage certificate . do i need to send anything else?
but what do they mean when they say "UK travel  document"?

is it the residency sticker on my passport? if that's the case im sending it  anyway cos its part of the passport.

another question, do i need to send utility bills to link me to my address?
thanks !

I was completely terrified and spent an extra £4 to have it special signed for delivery!

The odd thing was that roughly 2 1/2 weeks after i posted it out i got the passport back... and no licence.  There was a note indicating that they had received my information and were processing but that i could have my passport back.  The licence arrived about a week later.

It was odd that they sent the passport back before they finished processing but I for one was pleased as punch to have it back in hand!
