Accepted in to JMU-liverpool
« on: April 18, 2007, 02:59:03 AM »
Just got a Email today from UCAS and JMU stating that i was unconditonaly accepted in to JMU in liverpool. Now my main focus has turned to the finalical part of the equation.

 All and All its a Fine Arts BA 3 year undergrad course that will be costing 8,700 pounds for the course fees and about another 6000 pounds in living cost. JMU dose accept FAFSA and i will be filling that out later on tonight to send off and see how much student aid i can get from that.

Other means of aid will come from student loans and that is the main part i need help on. i know this website is a great place to find information and it has alot of helpful people who have been in the same spot i am now. Any help reguarding the stanford loan and other websites that are good with international student loans would be a great help! wish me luck and i hope to hear back from people soon. i need to get this prosses rolling!!!

Congrats!

As far as loans go - http://www.iefc.com

I got a private (TERI) loan through IEFC to make up for what the Stafford didn't cover and I had a great experience with them.  They're fast and specialise in dealing with overseas schools (they even have a London office, so chances are the fin aid person at your uni will have an established relationship with them already.)  Highly recommended! :)
Now a triple citizen!

Student visa 9/06-->Int'l Grad Scheme 1/08-->FLR(M) 7/08-->ILR 6/10-->British citizenship 12/12
