Ladies Cricket in London

Interested in learning to play cricket?  Live in London?  Then join the Hampstead Ladies Cricket Team!  We train on Tuesdays from 7pm until we can't see due to lack of light.  We are quite a social team - the clubhouse is open for us after training to hang out (we're hoping to get sandwhiches made for us after the training session).  We are been part of a developmental league for 2 years (most of us are new to the sport) and this year we'll have both a developmental and competitive team - so something for everyone.

I came in as an American who knew nothing about the sport and found some really fun women.  I enjoy myself and have learned quite a bit.

Ok so DH laughed at me when I told him about my possible interest in cricket  I was wondering, if all of the women on the team are really good, or if they are all newbies....I just don't want to make an ass out of myself, as I don't know anything.

If I come next week, will you meet up with me before?

There are some who are really good, some who are okay and some who have just begun and don't know the game.  So you'll fit in fine!  Don't worry about it - it's so much fun and we laugh at ourselves and each other (nicely).  Definitely come!  You can't miss me - the curly girl with the Indian hubby.  Oh, and being one of the only Americans makes me stand out too!
