I successfully picked up my husband's prescription today at Boots (they picked it up from the GP's and filled it). I suggest that folks look into the Boots program in their area.
Sweetpeach, luckily you are close by your GP's...I can't imagine having to write a letter for a refill.....especially monthly? Gosh, I remember when we moved and I filled out a form
in the office and they didn't process it (old address was on the prescription) and I had to write a letter to them about our change of address....that was a major IA!
