I love bananas, they're my favorite fruit!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

Can't stand 'em.   :-X  DH loves them, though - he eats a banana a day, like clockwork.  And my cat goes nuts for banana Laffy Taffy (as a toy, to fetch - not as a snack!).  Guess I'm the odd one out.  ;D

I'm the same way I always have a banana every morning with my cereal, I sometimes have a strawberry & banana smoothie for my breakfast.   ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

I like banana nut bread and muffins and banana pudding but if I eat a banana on it's own, it has to be at the perfect point of ripeness...no brown mushy spots and I don't really eat them often at all.

My ex BF LOVES bananas. In fact, he loves them so much that he eats them even though he's allergic to them and they make the entire inside of his mouth and his lips itch. He would eat a whole bunch in one sitting, but I think he's probably afraid he'll die if he did.

Me? I like banana bread (NO NUTS!!) and my grandma's banana pudding (with Nilla Wafers!  [smiley=smitten.gif]), but I can't really sit down and eat a whole banana.

Congrats ;D

Jules, we got a bunch of bananas yesterday. (Fairtrade ones)  You are right they are not that curvy, I never noticed that before.  They are bananas for sure btw and not plantains.

I don't know what it is about my Fairtrade bananas, but they seem to go all mouldy very quickly around the ends. The bit where they would have been attached to the banana tree. It's weird. Has anyone else noticed that?

Mine have not gone mouldy, but some are squishy at the ends (Is that what you mean?)

Nope. Furry white mould. Or is it mold? Now I'm confused. Anyway, it's furry and it's white and I don't want it on my bananas.

I love them!  Could have one with my cereal every day given the choice, with the occasional PB & Banana sandwich  :)

I'm on Slimming World as well and according to my consultant bananas are free but not a speed food so if you want a significant loss you should eat a variety of fruits not just loads of bananas.
