What now?

Ok, our dogs 6 months is up after their blood work on July 31st- Now Im trying to figure out the next steps. I read the pets scheme for dummies thread, but I guess Im a super dummy because Im still confuzzled 

Im guessing I go back to my vets for some forms right? (now, heres a question.....unfortunately I didnt pick a vet who really knew a whole lot about the PETS, is it too late to get another vet who knows more to finish the process?)

I know theres something about sending everything off to a USDA vet- there isnt one in our state so we need to send them to california- but what exactly do I need to send?

Once I have that back, all thats left to do is the flea and tick treatment 24 hours before the flight right?
