15p calls to America and Canada

For the month of April you can call all day Sundays to America or Canada for 15 p - that's not per minute, hour or call - but all day.  You have to go to the Post Office and purchase the Uk and international phonecard for £5,10 or 20.  Then just dial the 0800 number and put in the pin from the card and start dialing away.  Happy phoning!

You want to get planettalk for your long distance calls.It's 2 pence a minute to the USA. I call everyday & I use about £20 in two months maybe longer.

15p a day? Wow.

Hmm not sure if the Americans are reading this post but I have Vonage and I do know it is also available in the UK (looked into should I make the move there)... on the US end you pay about $25 a month, it hooks into your high speed internet but you can use a regular standard phone (and you get all the standard features, call waiting, voicemail etc included) and for that standard fee every month (you can budget yay!) you can call within the entire US and select countries UK being one included for free - so all of your calls to your significant other in the UK doesn't cost anything and is covered in that one monthly fee and I also believe you can transfer your current phone number (I think it only charges a low, as in a few cents, if you call a UK mobile phone, landlines free)... I believe the UK to America fee is about 5 or 6p a minute all the time... something to maybe look into, just google vonage or vonage uk

We get a charge of only 2p per minute when calling the States.

We have Talk Talk and ok I've had some problems with the service getting it all connected etc but since then no major issues. I get to call the States for free. They give you a pin number and all you have to do is put in the pin then dial whatever number your trying to reach in the States. Calls are free for the first 75 mins and 5p there after but if my mom and I get into one of those long conversations I just hang up after about 70 mins and ring her back

I don't know if they still have the offer going on...but when I was over in England last summer I signed up for First Telecom and was able to call home to the states for 1 1/2p a minute....it is worth checking out

I think the offer still might be...just give them a call and check...even before that offer of 1 1/2 p it was regularly 2 1/2 p so it wasn't very bad at all..and I think if you refer people and they give your name when they sign up you get credit towards your call...that is what they did last summer
