MSNBC article on your free credit report-July 24
« on: July 24, 2007, 08:10:37 PM »
There an interesting item on MSNBC about the free credit reports and one items talks about expatriates being unable to have access to their free credit report because of their foreign ISP.
I also says that free is a rip off. Passed by Congress to favor the 3 reporting agencies.
Anyone interested in their credit history would do well to read the article.

I don't see a recent article on MSNBC, do you have a link?

Besides, who else would the deal favor?  Those three are the ones that are used by companies to decide if you get a loan.  It isn't perfect, but it does allow you to see if there is any weird activity, if you need more you can always pay for it.  It's better than nothing and you can spread out the tree reports to different months.  So you can check over the whole year.
