One of the analysts at my last job (temp) was a mystery shopper for Pret a Manger. He would get platters of sandwiches delivered once every fortnight or so, and had to report on the timeliness of the delivery and quality of the sandwiches. I think he got the gig because he did a project for Pret, and they asked him if he was interested.
