It's 'superfine' or 00 flour.

For every cup of cake flour, use one cup minus 2 tablespoons of all purpose (plain) flour.

I just used plain flour. Hopefully my cake will turn out all right. I am going to make a batch of Pat the Postman cupcakes just in case!

BTW, I found cake flour here under the name of sponge flour and it is made by McDougall.  The name on the bag was "Supreme Sponge Premium".

Your cake should be OK, just a bit denser than if you had used cake flour.  Let us know how it turns out!

I will, I am doing that tres leche cake now. I am not a great baker, but I really enjoy it, and when I got my kitchen done last year I had all new Neff appliances, and as a welcome to your new kitchen gift my husband bought me a Kitchenaid Mixer...so those things make baking really enjoyable.

Luckly girl you!  I don't have a kitchenaid but I have been lusting for one for about a decade now.  I will be getting one when I'm back in the US and have a place though.  I can't wait! :D
