My husband tried her olive oil (called 'EVOO'... blurgh) a few years ago at a kitchen convention and said it was possibly the most foul thing he'd ever eaten.

She annoys me to the point that I refuse to purchase anything with her grinning mug on it. :P

She makes her own line of olive oil?? Maybe her Grandpa Emmanual taught her how....

I hate her morning show. It's horrible. I have a friend who LOVES her. She Tivo's anything with the name Rachel Ray and is dying to get to a taping of her show.

I've seen her show but what the heck is EVOO?

I'm not a huge fan of her, from what little I've seen. My mother loathed her last I heard but rumour has it she's actually growing on her now and she's always thought her recipes pretty decent.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I'd like to put Rachael Ray in a microwave for 30 minutes.   :P

I'll push the 'start' button after you set it to 'high power' ;D

extra virgin olive oil

TELL me she's not cooking with that?! ::)

It doesn't do well at high heat, not like normal olive oil.  It's meant to be used more as a dressing or condiment.

Yes she cooks with it lol. If I remember correctly she isn't an actually trained chef...she's self taught. That might be why she uses "EVOO" lol or maybe she likes the taste?

No, she can't be trained or she'd know it's not meant to be used in cooking - it even tells you on the back of the bottle here on some brands.  It breaks down and tastes bitter, like frying garlic too long.

She's way too bouncy and [prepares for flaming] American for my tastes, and I find her recipes strange.
