Thursday is the day all the cool people are going

I´m in Bamberg, Germany at the moment, just taking a wee break from the bier-trinken.  Yesterday 14 of us hired a mini-bus to drive us around to 7 or 8 local brauerein... most of the bier was fantastic, and the hosts seemed thrilled to have a group from Scotland, and gave us all sorts of free stuff, like baseball caps, beer steins, and plastic lids for our bier glasses (keeps the flies off when in the bier garten!).   At Löwen Brau last night, they only charged us for our dinners, and all of our bier was free!

We did the London Beer Festival last year. It was awesome (from what I can remember!)  Really great beer. We actually snuck in and got free admission, but that's another story. Hehe.

Unfortunately, I can't go Thursday. That's the day we are leaving for a three-week trip back to the US of A! 

I had the event pencilled in my diary!!! I am undecided which date to go. Beer festivals are great!! 

I'm going on Wednesday. Can't wait.

I wish I could go in the week.  I guess the weekend must be a total crush?

Zee Germans know how to drink the bier, yah?  I gotta make it over to Germany one of these days soon!
