I HAD to go, the guy whose wardrobe I've been using is coming for it on Monday and I needed some of those under-the-bed zip storage boxes to put my sweaters and knickers in before then!  Otherwise, you couldn't get me in there Saturday afternoon at gunpoint.
If you don't know where you're going, it doesn't matter what road you take.

I've not been there, but there's a place called The Tree Barn in the village of Christmas Common, Oxfordshire, what a name for a village.  I've been meaning to go there for ages.  Looks like they have a Christmas shop and also sell trees:  http://adhara.brinkster.net/tree/

If I were you I'd go and get some of the cheaper stuff in Wilkinsons / Asda / Tesco etc. and then, after Christmas when everything has been reduced, go around all the nice shops and get some stuff you'll actually want to keep.

All my xmas cards and whatnot are bought in January ;)

That looks like a real fun place!

I think getting your Christmas cards in January is such a great idea. I think I might try that out this next time.

Has anyone mentioned IKEA? They always have a huge section for xmas items, wrap and decorations.

During our move I unearthed 4 brand new boxes of large glass baubles I bought from the USA shortly before i moved. Very exciting. They haven't even been open yet!
