Not sure if it's still on newstands in the US, but the Sptember issue of Gourmet is all Latin American recipes and it's got TONS of stuff I'm dying to try! Maybe someone in the US could confirm/deny if it's available and then people could make arrangements to get a copy - it's well worth the hassle. But my guess is that in the weird world of magazine publishing the October issue is the one on the stands right now.  :-\\\\

Anne, I don't know how often you come into London but both of the Borders stores I frequent carry Gourmet, usually one month behind whatever is in the stands in the US.  I was just at the one in Oxford Circus and they have it. I didn't actually look at the cover so I can't confirm it's the issue you want.

Thanks June. I actually have it - my mom sent me a copy - but I was thinking that given the longing for Mexican food (and it's cousins) that it might be of interest to others here. It's got roasted tamales on the cover (mmmmmm).

Well, if anyone in London wants to scout out a copy and send it to me, I'd be happy to reciprocate with Pembrokeshire Life or some such thing!  ;)

(Or else maybe Anne will make copies or add some recipes here?)
