They have a free weight tracker, food tracker, exercise tracker and lots more if interested. I am using it only for the weight tracker as I like seeing my weight go down each week. Have a look you may like it.

This is a great program!! I've been using it for about 8 months now. I liked the free online version so much that 5 months ago I bought the registered version (lots more features) to install on my computer. My nutrition and weight would go to heck without it. I'm fanatical about logging my weight and everything I eat.

I am on weight watchers so logging in the food would be strange as I use points. But I think it wil be great to have somehting to monitor my progress. I already write down what I eat in a note book so I can go back and see where I went wrong if I should gain one week.

Thanks Munchie for mentioning this web site!  8)

... I was thinking of suggesting it to the low carbers in one of their other threads but never got around to it. Hopefully, they'll come across this thread! I've only been using the online version, it's kinda convenient and totally customizable (?).

Same here.  I used the online program for a while, then went for the PC software.  It's so useful, and I track my food and activities every single day.  The best thing about the PC version is that you can make custom foods by dragging in ingredients--when I make something, I just enter in the recipe and everything is computed.  It's great!

I know I've gone more than a bit into the past for this topic... ::) However, I've only just started using this site & wanted to sing its praises as well!  :)

Apparently (for my weight) I should be eating over 2000 calories...I've entered in Breakfast & lunch & snacks...and I've still got about 1500 to go.   ::)  FFs!  Guess I'll be having the 3 course meal tonight...
Ask and ye shall be babbled at.

Yep, I've been using it for a year and a half (and have lost almost 100 pounds).  Love it.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

I joined it today, as the scale reads that I am gaining weight.  It seems to work quite well, I also like the custom foods feature.  It is making me think twice about that spoonful of Nutella on a lovely lump of french bread, so it is a good thing!

Ok, I just joined today and I'm totally hooked.  I'm on WW, but it's nice to see the calories eaten and burned.

FYI, sparkpeople.com is a site similar to fitday and is also free. I am a complete believer of that site after losing nearly 50 pounds last year and gaining a newfound love of running. It's all down to them! So if there's something about fitday that annoys you, it might be worth checking out sparkpeople to see if it's better over there. :)

What are the benefits of Sparkpeople? I just looked at FitDay, and there's a little 'tour' thing so you can sort of see what the site will look like - before you join. But Sparkpeople didn't have one of those. Does it look clear and nice? (I know that sounds picky, but if a site isn't visually appealing, I'm not likely to use it.)
