Oh, I agree! :)
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

tomato blueberry jam
that doesn't sound that bad though

I didn't find anythingin the net either.  So I wonder if it was a regional thing because everyone else at work all had the same belief.  I did find info about people who eat their french frieds with ice cream.

sorry it is a US chain

I would say those workers are full of, well not blueberries.

No way I would have listened to them. Blueberry bagels gone to waste. Now that IS a sin.

Watermelons will grow in your belly, albeit very slowly.  I've had one growing in there since I hit 40,

And that swallowing gum thing must be true because I was told 7 years too.
Still tired of coteries and bans. But hanging about anyway.

I suppose, strictly speaking, there are some bagel purists out there who would consider blueberry bagels the food combo no-no.  ;)

Not me!  I loves mah blueberry bagels with cream cheese.  Yum.

I think the lesson learned here is "Never listen to your coworkers."  And, next time, the blueberry bagels and the tomatoes are yours.
