New to boards
« on: October 04, 2007, 04:49:21 AM »
WOW! This is a great site!  I'm Nan, married w/2 toddlers, living in central PA. I'll be going over to the UK in November to expand my business and will probably go there a few more times in the next year or so.

Hello Nan, you seem quite busy with a business and two toddlers.  You must be a master at time management and multitasking.  Welcome to UKY.

Hi Nan, welcome to UK-Yankee! I'm also from central PA, Mechanicsburg to be exact. Where are you from? There are loads of people on here from PA!

Actually, it's more south central, next to Harrisburg. I grew up in M-burg, so I lived there until I was 18. My parents are still there, so that's where I go when I go home. I'm quite familiar with Altoona. My grandparents lived in Williamsburg, so we ventured to the Logan Valley Mall occasionally! And of course, Dave's Dream.  ;D

Love Dave's Dream! We live about a mile from it! And last week we finally walked the mall for the first time! I'm still amazed at how big it is! I never guessed from the outside. We've only been here since Dec. and our 2 yo just broke his leg so we thought it would be a good get-out-of-the-house venture, plus I needed to check out a health fair that was being held in case I want to exhibit next year with my stuff.

And love the bike path in Williamsburg!

Bookgrl, haven't explored Johnstown yet, but it's on the list!
