Aliens in America (Possible Spoilers BEWARE)

I know it has not aired yet in the UK, however I downloaded the pilot (free) from iTunes last week and watched it recently.

I was so happy to that Scott Patterson (Luke on Gilmore Girls) was playing the dad and a much different character then he has played.

Has anyone else in the States watched?  What did you think.

I've been watching it, and I kind of like it.  It's not pee your pants funny, but does have some really great moments.

I totally agree.  I love the two boys, I think they cast them perfectly.  There was a bit to much stereotyping going on. (Though I know it was suppost to be) I hope they bring it here so I can continue watching.  Though I did see that the CW has them on the site so I might watch when I'm back in Dec/Jan.

I never watched Gilmore Girls, but I do remember Scott back in the mid-'80s when he was playing for the Columbus Clippers! Hell, I probably had a drink with him! 

I just watched a clip of the pilot of Aliens in America on www.tv.com and it looks pretty cool!

The stereotyping vanished by the second episode.  They've switched to a 'fish out of water' sort of thing, which I think works better.  Granted, I've only seen two episodes, so I don't know if it's a permanent change.
