Does this sound like oral thrush to you...

....and if so, is there an otc treatment available in the UK?

My lips are on fire, swollen, rough, and very sore.  No amount of lip balm/vaseline/etc. seems to make the least bit of difference.

Little sores (kind of like canker sores only smaller and not quite as painful) along the inside of my lips.

Tongue is coated an ugly yellow and burns a bit but is not as sore as my lips.

Ugh...

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.

Two non-medical interventions for thrush are gentine violet (I don't know if it is available otc here...check at a natural foods store) and yogurt with live cultures. Both work well but not as fast as the meds.
