Celebrity (and non) US campaign contributions
« on: October 21, 2007, 11:10:49 PM »
This site lets you see who has donated money to which parties and which candidates! It's pretty cool! You can see lists of celeb contributors alphabetically, look up candidates and see who their contributors are, or search for names of people and see if they've made any contributions. I looked up my dad! Hee!  ;D

I know! I was kind of shocked that a lot of them are such cheapskates! Willem Defoe gave like $250. I mean ... why bother? That's like a nickel to most people.

I found it really interesting that some people who are staunchly members of a certain party DID donate to the other once or twice.  Like Ben Stein.  It's nice to know that people aren't tied to party affiliation and are willing to think for themselves, you know?

That's true.

I can't stop looking at this site. I could keep myself occupied for hours here!

Have you looked up any country singers? There are quite a lot of Bush contributors.  :P
