Farofa - Brazilian maize or manioc dish - in London?
« on: November 02, 2007, 07:57:23 PM »
A good friend of mine lived in Brazil for several years and came to love Farofa. She told me she hasn't had it since she lived there (coming on 20 years now I expect). I know there is a good-sized Brazilian community in London and that it may also be sold in African food shops. Has anyone seen it? If anyone does, I could pay for it and postage. Not only is this person a friend, but she's my boss, too, so I'd love to get this for her for Christmas.

It's a long shot, but I thought I'd try!!
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon
