Fruit/nut baskets...
« on: November 12, 2007, 08:31:58 PM »
I was thinking of sending some of my relatives (US) fruit baskets with candies or nuts.

Can anyone recommend a website? I've looked at Harry and David, but I wanted to compare before buying.

Thanks!

When I send those kinda gifts to my family I always use Swiss Colony and they have great items and there is also some with prepaid shipping...or free shipping maybe...

Harry and David is the best, although not the cheapest.  I'm going to visit their outlet while I'm in the US...*drool*
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

MeShell & everyone - not sure if this qualifies as 'this kinda stuff' (or if it's available on IOM), but I did find this:

http://www.realfooddirect.co.uk/

And this:

http://christmasgiftsdirectuk.drct2u.com/ShopWindow?LpgUid=11111526

(The latter one I got in a catalogue I received yesterday - I think a lot of these UK catalogues must be all part of the same company, because I've only ever done a couple small orders from Simply Be in the past.  Then I found the first link by googling & trying to remember what the second one was - before getting the catalogue out again.)

When I lived in Florida, I often sent Florida citrus baskets for Christmas to my family in other states.  There's a fair few websites out there for it - just google. :)

My mom used to buy Swiss Colony stuff every Christmas.  I haven't heard anyone mention them in years.  I used to love their tortes!
