Why would you be nervous?  You just need to go to the justice of the peace and get your license at anytime within the 90 days.  The wedding can always take place another time.

You have to get married within those 90 days to comply with the K1 visa otherwise you'd have to shell out to file the I-130 along with the I-485 in order to adjust your status. Adjusting status alone at the moment costs around $1,000.

this is all true, you could just get the wedding paperwork before the wedding, I never thought of it like that. Thanks again for all the advice on the matter.

yes I know, I went thru it before.  the point is though she could still get her marriage license early.

Very true - we got ours on my last trip prior to getting my visa.
