We are filling out the visa application right now, and it asks about the sponsor which is me, their nationality, so we selected British Citizen, but then it asks when did i arrive in the country, do i just put my date of Birth.

any help would be appreciated.

I think it has just crashed on me, arggghhhhh. fingers crossed i dont have to start all over again.

That's what I did. Then it asks why my sponsor was given permission to live in the UK. I put, she was born in the UK. Next it asks when this permission was granted, I put her date of birth again. I figure it answers the question.

Good Luck, the online app has a couple things that don't work perfectly, fill it out to the best of your ability and explain anything that needs explaining in a cover letter. As far as I know this is the best way to deal with it.

Happy New Year!

Yup we've all encountered it.  It's not a smart web application.

I really like when they ask where your sponsor was born. The closest option for someone born in the UK is British Citizen, which isn't really a place. Ha ha ha.

I've sent mine off today. fingers crossed.
