Those of you who know the city (and the show) may find this interesting. I haven't seen the show but am hoping to get my hands on the DVDs one of these days.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I never watched the show, but I did drive by areas where they filmed frequently. I read another review and the author said the show was excellent. It sounds kind of silly, but I guess living there and watching a show about all the horrors of urban life while they were filming in neighborhoods around mine didn't really get me too excited! Now that I'm not living there I think I have more of an interest in seeing the show.
