I am sending lots of white light and healing vibes your way. I only hope they get there! I have been known to miss.
Blessings

Thanks -- we do need all the healing we can get!
Sometimes I feel maybe I don't really want to be back in UK -- too many things I would miss, like having a job, driving a car (I know ... but getting the license over there ain't easy), my cat, my friends and relatives, the house my father designed, etc.  And then there's all the hassle of either moving stuff or disposing of it somehow.  But its not right to be apart for so long.  I should never have left there -- but who knew?

I'm here in London with the DH after 6 weeks apart.  I leave Aug. 31st.  I am enjoying this time together, trying not to think about the end of the month
Not better, nor worse.  Just....different.

Thank you, Gottagettolondon. Things are a tad tense just now, waiting to hear about scan results from London.

my boyfriend and i did five months apart earlier this year, and it was HORRIBLE.  i mean, i just moped and moped and cried the whole time, while feeling like an idiot for just not being able to get it together.

aside from that, i just find it really hard and annoying to live with a foot on each continent, as it were.  it's too hard to feel settled in either place.  i pushed hard for us to hurry up and get married (and we are!  in less than two weeks!  woo!) and only because i am totally anxious to stop that balancing act.  (well, and you know, because i have the best boyfriend on earth and just couldn't see the point of waiting.  :-*)

I agree with Thaumata...having a foot on each continent is hard...my fiance and I have been together for 5 years...we just got engaged last September...it seems like each time we say goodbye it gets harder and harder. I can't wait for the day when we are together permanently and don't have to worry about anything...with any luck that will be soon...but I think the people on this website are very brave people...it takes a lot of endurance and commitment to keep a long distance relationship going...I believe that because I am in the middle of that...I love my fiance with all my heart and know that we will get thru this...and I know that other people going thru this same thing will get thru it...it just takes time and it is nice to have a great group of people to talk to...and Thaumata Congrats on your Wedding....
