The accents are definitely different depending on region for both countries. I enunciate my Ts more clearly than my boyfriend.

I pronounce Adam and atom with a difference in the d and t sound too, as far as I can tell, the a sounds the same.

These pronunciation games are fun because you always find people who contradict a generalization.  ;)

That's how they pronounce it in the song, so it must be right!  :)
