for females - smear test results

Really nervous as have had a couple weird results at home in the USA but they said if I can be vigorously monitored then I should be OK.  Have had a couple 'satisfactory' results now in the UK but I wonder if they really look at them the same way as they do in the states. That might sound stupid. But they told me to call for my test result in 12 weeks - I  had the smear last week - and I called today about something else and they had my results in. They looked at it in the surgery - didnt send it out to a lab - and said it was satisfactory. Does that sound weird to anyone?

Yes I would check again whenever my wife has had hers the surgery send them off to the hospital to be looked at, she had problems when she was younger, you can also have them done at the hospital, however they are done in the std clinic, my wife had a friend who used to work in one near were she used to live and all the nurses went into get them done yearly, I don't know if all of them do it but if you are unhappy maybe you could find out or change surgery.

Just sounds bit strange. Also because you have had problems dont leave it at this push it it is not worth leaving if you are worried about it.

May be there are others on here who have gone through this also.
