Those are standard UK-wide crime terms.

Completely off-topic, I know, but I'm curious what you think rocket scientists make! 

Admittedly they're not rocket scientists per se, but most of the scientists I know (including me!) are normal middle class professionals. (Well, ok, perhaps "normal" is debatable.)

I would guess it's just an expression that people use without really knowing what rocket scientists (or any kind of scientists) actually earn.

Yes! Exact date to be decided, but probably around May/June. Believe me, you'll be hearing about it when it gets a bit closer.

We will ask the gods for some nice weather at the time you are arriving!  Goodness knows we are due for a proper spring/summer this year - and I have seen some lovely May/June days in my time here.  Fingers crossed.

Thanks for all of the wonderful feedback, I'm very much looking forward to visiting the areas mentioned and seeing how they feel to me.... the biggest obstacle for me will be securing a place to live that will take all my fur-kids...but have quite a while to figure all of that out.
