I expect you just call the ticket office.

Recorded Match and Ticket Information:  020 7704 4242

Or online at http://www.arsenal.com/membership/article.asp?article=338115&title=Tickets

The chances of getting tickets for most Arsenal games in the coming season are slim to none.  Although the ground has a much bigger capacity than our old one, there is a massive number of people who want to go to games.  There is a membership system in place - tickets are first given to Gold members (hehe, lucky me!) then Silver, then Red.  Only after this are they put on general sale.

If you are going to be in the UK for a while, consider becoming a member.

One thing to look out for is that there are some games that are going to be less popular than others, so there is a bigger chance that these will go on general release.  We have Champions League qualifyers coming up, which may not be taken up by members. Also look out for the early rounds of the League Cup, which are also less popular.

Please, please, lease do not buy from touts.  Touting football tickets is illegal, you stand the chance of spending a lot of money and not being granted entry, and you harm the club and the fans.

Vicky, do you happen to know, if someone becomes a red member, are they then obligated to buy season tickets, or can they just buy tickets for a particular game?
(the site says 'seasonal tickets')

Oh, no, Red Members probably *can't* buy season tickets, as there is still about a 10 year waiting list for these!  It just means that when tickets are available to Red Members, you have an option to buy them.  No obligation for anything.

Hi,

I'm bumping this one, although I doubt the answer has changed.  I moved to Finsbury Park last year, and would like to see an Arsenal match, but I'm not so into football that I want to become a member.

I've heard some teams have set up ticket exchanges or other offically-sanctioned ways for their season ticket holders to sell tickets to games that they're not able to attend.  Does anyone know if there's such a program for Arsenal?  I looked on the club's website, but didn't see anything.  (I've filled out paperwork for home mortgages that wasn't as complex as the process for getting Arsenal tickets. :) )

EDIT: Should've looked harder.  Apparently there's a ticket exchange, but you still have to be a member to participate.  If anybody knows anything different, please let me know.

thanks,
Carl

I am afraid that nothing has changed.

You must be a member to be part of the ticket exchange (as far as I am aware) so you are pretty limited.

Your best bet is to keep an eye on the Arsenal website for when tickets become available on general sale.  Your best bets are too look at weekday evening games against fairly rubbish opposition, although now that every point is crucial I expect most games to be a seel out, so you may have to wait until next season.  However, you could also try looking on the websites of our opposition teams to see if they put their tickets to general sale - it would mean going in the away end, but at least you'd get to go.

Next season, keep an eye out for early Champs League or Carling Cup games, as these often have tickets available at a reduced rate up until the day before the match.

Finally, if you really want to catch a game at the new stadium, then there is a friendly between Brazil and Sweden which would be worth going to.

Looks like I'll be keeping a close eye on the website.   ;D

Thanks, Vicky!
