I've got a couple of litres of (home-made) ham stock sitting in the freezer, wanting me to do something with it.

I'd love to hear your ideas!  :)

It would be good added to anything with beans in it (cuban, new orleans, mexican, or any of those styles). Or a ham and potato soup?

I've also seen it used to braise things like savoy cabbage.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

I'd definitely use it in black bean soup...and I love rice cooked in ham stock.
