FLR(M)

I tried to search for the FLR(M) visa so I can extend my stay another 2 years, but when I search for it on the UK Visas website, it says it doesn't exist.  Did they change the form I need in the past few months?  Does anyone know the route to take for me to get a 2 year extension on my nearly expired spousal visa?

you need to go to the UKBA website- http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk.  Search for FLR(M) and the form should come up. The form has changed very recently, just so you know.

I was taking a look at it and it says something about Biometric Immigration Cards and needing to book an appointment in Croydon to get fingerprints and photos taken.

I am applying by post and I live outside of London.  Does this mean I don't need to fill out the Biometric Card section of the visa and I don't need to make an appointment?

Yep, that's right.  The only people who need to worry about biometrics for FLR(M) atm are those who are applying in person at Croydon OR are applying by post and live in a London postcode.  So you don't have to do it

Just one more question:  The new form also forces me to give a reason why I'm applying for an extensiton rather than a IRL. 

My real reason is because my husban, our soon-to-be-born son and I are all going to move to America at the end of the year, but my visa runs out in June.  This is not given as a reason.  I'm not sure what I'm supposed to put here as I'm sure if I put that I'm moving to another country in a few months, they will deny my visa.

If you're talking about Solihull, Liverpool & Glasgow the UKBA is quite clear on their website that at the moment, those offices aren't doing biometrics...I expect that will change eventually, but right now it's just Croydon and London postcodes.

I think I may be a little dense here  sorry!

We are sending ours off after July 12th. 

When DF went to get his fiance visa in California he had to submit his application with Biometrics then before his fiance visa was approved. 

Is this not recorded at the Home Office anyway?? or would he have to do further Biometric tests ??

I have a FLR(M) interview on the 16th of this month. I am applying as a married partner and I am not certain what to do about my living arrangements with my spouse, because for the past year she had been living with her parents in Yorkshire and working part time in Man when she stayed with me approx 3 times a week.

Is this imp, and what information should I provide to back this up?

FLR (M) 'interview'?  What status are you currently on?

I am on a working holiday makers visa at the moment. I mad an appointment the Liverpool PEO office to get my visa on the day.

If you have no intention of living together you will be refused.

As your situation is complex, I would advise that you don't apply in person.
