Purim - Mishloach manot
« on: March 17, 2008, 07:00:28 PM »
Does anyone make up Purim gift baskets (mishloach manot)?  I need ideas of what to include.  So far I'm thinking hamentashen, choc chip cookies and chocolate pretzels.

Any other ideas?

duvshaniot? Maybe some fruit?
And if you threw a party
Invited everyone you knew
You would see the biggest gift would be from me
And the card attached would say
"Thank you for being a friend!"

TBH, rugelach is a big pain to make and I don't really have the time before Friday.

I'll look for my recipe and post it :)

I made some hamentaschen this weekend, but not really good enough to share the recipe. There are some on recipezaar.com though.

We used to put in nuts and dried fruit. We used to have these Stella D'oro cookies in ours too!

I remember them very specifically since they were probably kosher and the only good cookies we were allowed to have in our house.  ::) :)
