Yateley Housing
« on: March 18, 2008, 02:06:25 AM »

Hello. My family and I are currently  American expats in Shanghai, but will be moving to England next month for a 3 year expat assignment. My husband's company is located in Yateley. We will be working with a relocation agent to help with housing, but I wanted to get as much information as possible on housing locations before meeting with them and am seeking your input.

I have a 3 yr. old and 15 month old. Can anyone recommend a good area to live that would be close to Yateley (or easy commute), but is family friendly, within walking distance to parks, playground, shops, restaurants, rail into London?

Also, we are debating whether or not I will need a car, in addition to my husband's. Is it necessary or can I get around alright with 2 small kids via public transport and/or walking?

Thanks in advance.

Hello again!

You may want to take a look at Right Move to look at houses, but to get a good idea of what a certain area is like and what's nearby have a look at Up My Street.

Take care & hope those sites help!
