Balmerhon, where did you find an automatic?  LOL  It seemed to me they're almost unheard of here!

Just because most people here dont LIKE them, doesn't mean they're unheard of!  ;)
The AutoTrader has a whole section devoted to automatics.

Balmerhon, Howard and Broxi--thanks for the intel regarding automatics.  Someday (a long time in the future), when we can afford another car, I'll know where to try looking! :)

Howard, I'll still miss the fireflies--if you could see them dancing around on a summer's evening, you'd understand.  But I will look for glow worms in the coming months.  It was very kind of you to provide that link, thank you. :)

As for OTT Christmas decorations...you wouldn't by any cance be thinking of 34th Street in Hampden would you?! My aunt used to live there!

LOL I used to live in Hampden (Buena Vista Ave, to be exact).  34th Street was always an Xmas highlight.

Oh tam, I've lived in parts of the world where I have seen them dance, and what a delight!

Ummm, love boiled peanuts, used to buy them on my way to the beach. I never thought to ask my sis to bring them over when she was here at easter. I did get 3 large boxes of grits though!
