Looking for Old Ryan Air Thread
« on: April 14, 2008, 06:57:47 AM »
I know there was a thread here not too long ago about someone getting charged £6 to check in without a UK passport, but despite my searches, I am coming up empty handed. Does anyone remember it?

 :(

It was me!!! I've never been charged since that time. Have you had problems with it?? As long as when you book the ticket you say your passport isn't issued by an EU/EEA country you should be fine. The downer is you can't check in online, so you have to stand in line.

That's the one Meg! Thanks!

We could not find a way to get the fees off of the reservation, so it's paid for now. I spoke with Ryanair today, and posted the number in the other thread to fax a refund request to.
