Visa's and passports
« on: March 10, 2008, 07:47:09 AM »
Since I did not have my youngest son (now age 6) registered for birth at the embassy because I was too stupid to realise I had to, is it now too late to get him a US passport? I am seriously considering going back to the states now. And my husband, how hard to get him a visa? We were married in California if that helps but that was 12 years ago. How long would getting visa's etc take also? Thanks.
M.

Here is some information regarding the birth abroad / passport requirement(s):

Do it before it's too late!! :)

Re: Visa; http://forum.diveintoamerica.com/ is a fantastic start to endless information regarding this subject! Generally 6-8 months for the whole process (if all goes straight foward).
