yeh sadly the Glasgow A&W is no more, i think it shut before the summer, can't remember. I remember one week I had a nice rootbeer and two weeks later it had turned into a regular KFC and I was gutted...

So...does anyone know where else to find rootbeer in Glasgow??

I found that Lupe Pinto's on great western road but a can of rootbeer was £1.10 so I didn't get any :( I suppose that's not so bad because it was about that at A&W so i may go back...:D
Here the A & W and KFC are the same in town. I'm not sure if they are the same company so maybe if you had gone into the KFC they may have had the A & W floats.

I have never seen a KFC that has root beer here.  Only the, now defunct, A&W in Glasgow and the few others dotted around.

I knew heavy glass mugs and Glasgow wouldn't mix.

Fentiman's Curiosity Cola has a strong resemblance to Root Beer IMO.
