medication equivalents
« on: April 19, 2006, 05:11:33 PM »
I have no idea where to find a medication equivalent for US/UK, and need to find what they call cyclobenzaprine here, its brand name is Flexeril...

Im allergic to it and was told I need to get the info so if I ever needed a muscle relaxer I can let them know what not to give me, and I was told they will have to check before giving me an epidural...

So does anyone know the name for that over here or where I can find out?

TIA

Katrina

There is an equivalent to a Physician's Desk Reference here but I can't think of the name of it.  Maybe someone else can remember what the book is called.
"Be completely humble and patient, bearing with one another in love"  Ephesians 4:2

"All that is necessary for evil to win the world is for good men to do nothing." Edmund Burke

Your GP will be able to tell you, especially if you give the generic name, not the brand name.
