Suggestions for letting agents in Leeds?

Elynor and I are going to be moving to Leeds from Belfast fairly soon. Can anyone direct us to a good letting agent who would be able to make suggestions to steer our housing hunt (flat or maybe small house)?

Hopefully we will be able to make an advance trip over, but it would probably not be much of one. So we'd like to have a pretty clear idea of the options before inspecting a few places in person.

No particular recommendations.  If you're looking to be near the univ in Headingley/city centre, there are loads of letting agents there for university-related (student) housing of all types.

They were reasonable as far as I could tell.  Looks like they have an online property search with drop down menus, etc.

http://www.livinginleeds.co.uk/ is a useful website listing loads of agents for both renting and buying.

When I was looking I used Streets Ahead and I had no problems but it depends where you want to live as (very) generally they are split into City Centre, studentville and elsewhere.

we used Linley and simpson in Leeds a few years back and were very happy with them. They actually helped us get a place and sign on it during a 2 day trip, and then meet the agent there with the keys when we moved a few weeks later.
