Anyone with a US credit card?

Do you get your US credit card statement sent here, or still back home?

Does it matter either way?

I have one, and I get the statement online.  I still have a US bank account and pay the credit card from the online banking.

I get correspondence sent to my UK address.

I want them to know that I live in the UK, as I have had issues with security freezing my card when I have made purchases in the UK - a "foreign" country.

Does that mean that your credit score thing would have your address as the UK?

Ditto.   :)

I have a PO box back home that I use for my US address.

Online statement for checking and credit card. Some banks charge you like $5.00 monthly fee to mail the statement overseas, so check with them if you want it sent that way. Otherwise just access it online. Save a tree!

I have my account listed at my Dad's address and have the bank put the statements in the care of his name with our names still listed on there.  That way he knows their important if his name's on it.   :)  (I'm with US Bank.)  It also helps to have the credit card registered to a US address if I'm wanting to make purchases in the US - some sites will only accept cards that are registered to a US address.

edited to add - I get statements online, but anything that needs to be sent out (ie replacement cards) goes to my Dad's address.

I get all my US stuff sent to my parents address- but I only use my US credit/debit cards while I'm actually in the US or on US-based websites, so there's no reason to get anything sent to the UK.  Having a US address on my card has come in handy for online shopping especially, so I suspect I'll try to maintain a US address on them as long as possible.
