Expat insurance
« on: June 14, 2008, 03:28:40 PM »
So, just clicked on one of the ads here on UKY for insurance that will pay for your travel and accommodation if a loved one is in hospital or dies. For a couple, the annual rate is £150. This sounds like a really good deal to me. Just wondering if anyone else has checked into this or anything similar and if it's actually worth going for. I'm always afraid of getting screwed I think. lol

Anyone?

I clicked the link myself awhile ago. I decided that the cost seemed a bit high for me. Maybe I just can't let myself imagine I would need it in the next 5 years, so thought I could save that much each year and easily buy a ticket. I do think the concept is a great idea though!

I suppose it would depend on the age and health of your loved ones.
