Interesting telly
« on: June 26, 2008, 12:08:27 PM »
A couple of programmes ive seen recently which i enjoyed;

Andrew Marrs - History of Modern Britain and Windrush.

Both really well made and i thought an interesting  insight into the UK. I would imagine they would be of interest to people who have settled here  - certainly as a Brit i found them really informative - particularly the events covered that i had a vague recollection of from my childhood.

Just wondered if anyone else was/is watching?

We don't watch much (except Dr Who, and DH likes things like QI and Have I Got News for You).

I enjoyed Springwatch recently while it was running.  I am also watching the new Tribal Wives programme. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]  The first episode last week was more interesting about the tribe than about the woman - in one scene she was worried about getting her T-shirt dirty. ::)  I still need to catch up on last night's episode.

I watched Wild China recently, it was absolutely stunning and fascinating.
