Hi everyone,
I'm a graduate student at the University of Rochester, New York and am currently doing a project on intimate relationships as a part of my dissertation. It would be great if you could help me by completing my online study, and inviting your partner to do the survey too if he or she is interested. Your participation is greatly appreciated. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
Thank you in advance for your time!

==================================
In a relationship?
At least 18 years old or older?
Have a partner who might do a survey with you?

Psychology researchers at the University of Rochester are looking for couples in romantic relationships (from dating to marriage) to complete a short survey.

Who am I?
The Interplay of Self & Partner Identities in Relationships Study is:

-- VOLUNTARY
-- COMPLETED ONLINE
-- SHORT (takes 25-35 min to complete)
-- Involves you and your partner both participating (at separate times)
-- Assesses both conscious (self-reported) and subconscious (implicit) attitudes
-- Offers extensive INDIVIDUAL FEEDBACK on your personality and your relationship
  - 7 dimensions of personality (yours and your partner’s)
  - 5 dimensions of how you see yourself
  - 5 dimensions of how you see your partner
  - 6 dimensions of relationship quality

Explore your subconscious: This feedback will contrast how you see things (yourself, your partner, your relationship) at a conscious level to how you see things at a subconscious level (using implicit assessments).

-- Includes optional follow-up surveys every 3rd month
  - Brief surveys (10-15 min)
  - Occurring 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, 21 and 24 months after the initial survey

I'd do this because it looks really interesting, but somehow I don't think J would be up for it  :(

I did this too as it reminds me about a paper I wrote in college which was abotu internet love verse face to face love.  This was when internet chat room relationships were booming ;-)

I am all about helping someone write a paper! Good Luck! Would love to know the statistics once complete

Same here.  I think you'll get loads of interested females, but their partners most likely won't want to do it.

Same here as for the other ladies, which, could also be a study in itself, really.
