Did anybody watch last night?  What did you think?

I recorded that last night on my Sky+ box I have watched about the first 20 mins so far it has a slow start I think I hope it gets better.   

So far so good - I was just going to watch it later on Sky+ but I got caught up watching the tennis and so watched it "live" because it's on the beeb (so no ads!)



I thought it was quite a good start, and although everything points to him being guilty I'm suspecting the whole point of the programme is that he isn't - I reckon it was her dad that did it.

I thought the storyline was pretty gripping so far.  It's not so much that I want to find out the solution to the mystery as that I want to find out what happens to the kid.

Still holding up, and I loved how the young lawyer caught Detective Box out over the inhaler and twisted his words around about "being able to read a crime scene"!

Yes, I loved the bit about the inhaler too!  I didn't see that coming at all.  I remember the detective picking up the inhaler but I attached no significance to it.

It's alarming to think what the fallout from the cell phone incident will be.  I'm disturbed by the show but I can't look away.

Tykeman, what did you think of the conclusion?

I was a little disappointed. I thought they rushed it and crammed too much in.

Yes, I thought it was rushed too.  Not terrible but not as good as the rest of the week. It seemed like they skipped over so much stuff in their hurry to conclude it in an exciting way, that it felt a bit empty.  It was like reading an epilogue instead of a proper ending.

Very anticlimatic ending but a really good series up til then. I think they copped out.

Hubby and I agree.  It was a great series, but the ending could have been much better.  They did leave out a lot in the end.

I had & still have alot of shows recorded on my Sky+ box I had the last episode of this show but  I don't have it anymore can someone please what happened was Ben convicted or for found innocent? if he was innocent who really did commit the crime? Stuart the boyfriend? I know I'm late in replying to this topic but like I said I had & still have alot of shows yet to watch. so if anyone could pleasee tell me what happened I would really apprecite it.   

Ben was found guilty and sentenced to life. he got friendly with his cell mate called Hooch. Hooch got the impression from another prisoner, Freddy Graham, that he knew Ben was innocent so he threatened his life by strangling him to get him to talk. Then he wrote it all down and gave it to the guard to pass on to his solicitor. Because of what he did Graham's pals killed Hooch with an overdose. It turned out that the real killer was the witness from the petrol station, he was the one who committed the other murder that night and Mel had witnessed it and he was following her, that's why she told Ben she didn't want to be alone that night. Ben was released and it ended with him watching football and The Jam's, Town Called Malice playing, the same as it started.

Thank You very much        I looked everywhere online to see if possibly it was there but I couldn't find it if it was. I guess I missed that part where she said she didn't want be alone tonight that or I just don't remember her saying that.        my memory isn't what it used to be lol.      I would have never guessed it was the witness from the gas station. Thanks again.
