Softball? In the West Midlands? You HAVE to be kidding!!
« on: May 22, 2008, 08:02:47 PM »
Yes, there actually is softball in the West Midlands.  West Midlands Softball is currently going through a rebuilding period.  We've changed our venue.  We've lost several players, but our heart is still there-- all we need is YOU!

We're calling all American Expats from Coventry to Castle Bromwich, Wythall to Wolverhampton, Stourbridge to Sutton, and all points Brum in between.

We're a coed slowpitch team of all levels and all nationalities (ok so it's really just American, Canadian, British and Dutch) and we're always recruiting new players.

If you haven't got a glove, that's fine, we've got a dozen spare!  We've got bats, balls (oh plenty of those!) and we've got a dedicated and dynamic group of about 13 players of all skill levels and ages 16 - 50something.

Come on down, it's always free and we occasionally go for the odd pint after training.  We meet every Wednesday evening from 6:15 to 8 pm at the Lordswood Boys' School, Hagley Road, Harborne, Birmingham.

For more information, either PM me, or send an email to alex@westmidsoftball.com  Why not check out our website at www.westmidsoftball.com where you can find the latest training schedule as well as the listing of our upcoming competitions.

See you soon, I hope!

If you were in East Anglia I would be there in a heart beat!  I can't seem to find a softball team in East Anglia at all.......
