I never would have passed it if I hadn't read the study guide though. Now I just have to apply for ILR on October 6th  :)

Congratulations!  It was easy once you read the book, wasn't it?  October 6th isn't that far from now.

Can I just ask where most people are doing their practice tests online? I've read the book and I've been doing the practice tests from here: http://www.hiren.info/life-in-the-uk-test/38 and I just wanted to know if anyone else used this site and passed.

I did practice tests on that link, but keep in mind anything to do with population or statistics like that are out of date on the online practice tests.  That guide to citizenship book is your best bet. Definitley remember the percentages etc on the population!

Thank MoggyMay. I passed it this afternoon and that site did help me a fair bit, but I wouldn't recommend it to use solely.  Cause like you said, many of the stats are outdated... and despite doing all the tests on that site 3 times... i never came across quite a few questions that were on my actual test today.
