I wonder about that too. I find Little Britain just a hit and miss show myself. And basically the same joke per skit just shown in a different way each week... I thought the astronaut character looks like an aged Burt Reynolds.

Yes, same - i watch it from time to time but am not an avid fan. Some sketches such as the mental woman who licks faces i just don't get, i cant understand with some scenes how they thought ''yeah, thats really funny, we'll use that'', others quite amusing.

I think the article from the Boston paper is a good indicator of reaction tho - i found American TV in general when i was there to be rather puritanical and safe and i think all the gay references and nudity (albeit prosthetic) will cause a problem with many - i guess thats why its on HBO.

There are some shows on LOGO that do the same, aren't there??  Besides, most all gay jokes I have ever heard were from a gay person!

I don't understand why people (in the article) are making a big deal about it.  I mean, this won't be the first time Little Britain has aired in the US, so why all the brouhaha all of a sudden?

good to know... i saw an interview with them and assumed both of them were gay.  either way, it's a very funny show and i like those clips for the US version... i was hoping they would come back!

We watched it last night -- I thought the Fat Fighters and gym skits were funny. The rest? Meh.
